Validated Statutory Assessment Data for 2023 - 2024

 

Early Years Foundation Stage:

70% of children achieved a Good Level of Development (GLD)

 

Phonics:

90% of Year 1 children passed the Phonics Screening Check (PCS)

94% of Year 2 children have now passed the Phonics Screening Check (PSC)

 

Key Stage 1:

Statutory assessments are now optional for Key Stage 1.

 

Multiplication Check:

58% of Year 4 children achieved 25/25 in the Multiplication Check

 

Key Stage 2:

60% of children achieved the expected standard in reading; 13% achieved greater depth

The average scaled score in reading was 102.4.  The progress score in reading is -1.5

 

73% of children achieved the expected standard in writing; 12% achieved greater depth

There is no average scaled score in writing.  The progress score in writing is 0.6

 

73% of children achieved the expected standard in mathematics; 28% achieved greater depth

The average scaled score in mathematics was 102.5.  The progress score in mathematics is 2.1

 

63% of children achieved the expected standard in grammar, punctuation and spelling; 28% achieved greater depth.  The average scaled score in GPS was 103.8.  There is no progress score for GPS

 

52% of children achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined; 7% achieved greater depth combined

 

Due to the COVID pandemic, the government will not publish Key Stage 2 school-level data for 2021 - 2022 academic year.  The last available public data is for 2018 - 2019 academic year.  It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
