Year 4 Teacher - Edinburgh

Gamze Marshall

My name is Mrs Marshall and I teach in Year 4- Edinburgh.

I gained my undergraduate degree of Education Studies with TESOL and PGCE Primary (5-11 years) from University of Derby.

I became a teacher so that I can leave a long-lasting impact on children’s lives, and I love the fact every day is different.

My favourite author is Roald Dahl. If I was to choose his favourite book, which is very difficult, it will have to be BFG.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, take my dog for nice walks, watching documentaries, and crocheting a blanket or two.

I enjoy challenges and pushing my abilities to the limit. So much so that, at the end of June this year, I joined a local rowing club as a learner (despite having a water phobia) and now am part of the women’s crew. How about that!
