Admission for September 2020

We are so happy that you have chosen us as your child’s school. Inshallah!

For parents/carers of children joining Reception year in September 2020 (children born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016).

National Offer Day was 16th April and you should have received either a letter or email from Derby City Council Admissions stating which school your child has been allocated a place to join in September 2020.

If you made an application and have not received a letter or email, in the first instance please contact Derby City Council Admissions Team on 01332 642727 or email admissions@derby.gov.uk

If you have received your offer letter/email and did not get your first choice (Zaytouna) in the first instance you should contact Derby City Council Admissions Team.

We still have places available for children to join our school in September 2020, if you are new to the area or are unsure on how the application process works please contact the school office and we will answer any questions you have.

The school office is open Monday – Friday 8:00am-3:30pm, please call us on 01332 383379 or email office@zaytounaprimary.co.uk, please adhere to the current social distancing and essential travel measures that are in place, and make contact using telephone and email rather than coming to the school site.

For parents/carers of children joining Years 1-6 in September 2020

If you wish to apply for your child to join our school in September, in the first instance please contact the school office. If no one is available to take your call, there is an option to leave a voicemail message, we will call you back the following day.

To start your application, we ask parents/carers to complete our admission form, this can be posted to your home address.

For parents/carers of children who have already completed an application

If you have already submitted an application to the school for your child to join Zaytouna in September (excluding Reception Year), your application has not been forgotten, we will be in contact with parents/carers later on in the Summer term and finalise details.

In the meantime, if you do have any questions or concerns please contact the school office using telephone or email.

Please note that due to government guidance of essential travel and social distancing measures we are not currently offering a tour of the school, but will endeavour to organise one as soon as government restrictions are lifted.
